Unity Works was launched on June 19, 2025, on Umoja Village's 5th anniversary.  The above total reflects contributions received since that date.  The goal is to raise a minimum of $50,000 by December 31, 2026.

The Unity Works Fundraising Campaign is Umoja Village's year-round fundraiser for individuals, businesses, churches, and organizations to donate undesignated funds to help meet the overall mission needs of Umoja Village, which includes the continued operations of the Richard Johnson Jr. Umoja Village Resource Center and critical crime prevention initiatives outlined in the Umoja Village Rebuilding The Foundation Crime Prevention Plan.
