It’s a Celebration! Umoja Village turns six, and we invite you to join us as we reflect on our impact and celebrate our journey.

Friday, June 19, 2026 | 9AM-5PM

Be part of a powerful day of education, fellowship, and empowerment as we journey together via a travel bus to the new, expanded Cecil Williams South Carolina Civil Rights Museum, the Orangeburg Massacre Memorial, the African American History Monument in Columbia, SC, and the Center for African American History, Art & Culture in Aiken, SC; brought to life by historians and living legends who will share their voices and stories.

Founded on June 19, 2020, Umoja Village is a South Carolina-based resource management and advocacy organization that connects the underserved, underrepresented, and marginalized populations to the services needed to help cultivate a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive community, all in the spirit of Umoja, which means Unity.
