Umoja Village Celebrates Five Years of Dedicated Service to Underrepresented Communities

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WFXG) - Umoja Village is a local non-profit organization designed to connect underrepresented communities to services they may need, and as of Thursday, it’s officially been 5 years of dedicated service to the CSRA.

Not only Juneteenth, but the founding day of Umoja Village in Aiken.

“Umoja by the way is a Swahili word that means unity,” said Donna Moore Westby, co-founder and CEO of Umoja Village in Aiken.
