The Aiken Business Coalition Entrepreneurship Program Co-Hort 2

On March 6th, 2025 the Greater Augusta Black Chamber of Commerce completes it's 7th  Entrepreneurship Training Program.

CSRA— The Aiken Business Coalition which is a coalition between the City of Aiken, Greater Augusta Black Chamber of Commerce, Aiken Chamber of Commerce, Umoja Village, Security Federal Bank, and NAACP of Aiken closes out the 2nd Co-Hort of the Aiken Business Coalition Entrepreneurship Program(ABCEP). This program provided entrepreneurs and minority small business owners with the needed training and with access to capital to be successful in an ever-changing business world.

The initiative is part of the City of Aiken’s continued effort to support sustainable businesses and economic opportunity by focusing on small businesses training and providing a guaranteed economic opportunity. The hope is that these entrepreneurs can connect and collaborate bravely in the water of business and commerce. This program is unique in that it offers entrepreneurs both training in business fundamentals and access to capital upon program completion.

Since its formal inception in 2017, the Greater Augusta Black Chamber of Commerce (GABCC) has strived to provide its promises to minority-owned, women-owned, black-owned, and disadvantaged businesses throughout the CSRA. Since its inception in March of 2017, the chamber has been dedicated to advocating for its members and the community, specifically targeting economic growth and sustainability via workshops, technical assistance, and networking opportunities.
