Umoja Village is a locally-based 501(c)3 organization founded on June 19, 2020, by Aiken residents, Don and Donna Moore Wesby. Umoja Village is a resource management and advocacy organization that connects the underserved, underrepresented, and marginalized populations to the resources and services they need. Working in the spirit of Umoja (Unity), Umoja Village is a resource hub that avoids reinventing the wheel by referring clients to relevant agencies, organizations, businesses, and churches; however, its programming fills other service gaps. Its Richard Johnson Jr. Umoja Village Resource Center is located at 831 Hayne Avenue, SW in Aiken. For additional details about Umoja Village and office hours, visit umojavillage.com
