“Thank you, Lord, for ordering our steps as we accepted your direction to start Umoja Village. To every person who came to today's Umoja Village five-year anniversary drop-in, words can't adequately express our gratitude. For those who couldn't attend but you called, sent texts, sent gifts, or prayed, thank you from the depths of our heart. To those who donated today in the kickoff of our new "Unity Works" fundraising campaign, may the Lord multiply the blessing back to you. And, to our diligent staff who accepted my challenge to work in excellence, I say that you did it. Thanks to our board for your unwavering support. And, thanks to the media who covered our event.
