Umoja Village Holds 5th Annual Black History Month Program
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Umoja Village had its 5th annual Black History Month program Sunday after it was delayed due to winter weather.
It was held at the UCSA Convocation Center, and each year, a theme is picked for the event, and this year’s theme was heal.
Community influencers were recognized, and the William Clyburn Lifetime Achievement Award was presented.
We spoke with the board of directors for the Umoja Village about this event.
